Biography
Shann Hwa (Abraham) Hwang is a professor of family studies. He teaches both face to face and online courses on topics relates to family development, theories of the family, diversity issues, and research methods. He is actively conducting research projects dealing with family issues and Asian American families, including fathering, parenting processes, and family life education among Asian American families. Dr. Hwang is a certified family life educator and regularly conducts family workshops in the community. He was elected and served two terms as a CFLE Advisory Board member at the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR).
