Biography

Linda J. Brock, PhD is an associate professor in the Marriage & Family Therapy program and is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist--Supervisor and a Licensed Professional Counselor. Dr. Brock has taught at Texas Woman's since her days as a graduate student here, and has held her current appointment since 2000. Her areas of expertise include human sexuality; family of origin; family therapy theory; older persons in families; grief, loss and bereavement; and qualitative research. She has directed many dissertations and theses and her work has been published in a variety of professional journals.
