Biography
Amy Teague is an associate clinical professor and the Dual Enrollment Dental Hygiene Program coordinator. She has been practicing in dental hygiene for 28 years with an emphasis in clinical practice and dental hygiene education. She earned her master's degree at TWU in Health Studies with a focus in higher education. She teaches the dental hygiene process of care to the undergraduate students and coordinates the second-year dental hygiene clinics. She has served as a QEP Fellow, an Experiential Student Scholar Mentor and an Academic Affairs Faculty Fellow. Her research has included elements of dental hygiene care, and implant care, and she is currently researching educational outcomes in the Dual Dental Hygiene Program.
