Biography

Anastasia Miller, Ph.D. is very committed to preparing students to be competent managers in the rapidly changing health care sector. She has clinical experience in a range of healthcare fields, ranging from Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to Tissue Recovery, and administrative/clinical support with work ranging from pharmacy to dental office. These experiences have given her a unique take on what makes a good healthcare leader. Through her research, Dr. Miller is also dedicated to improving the day-to-day life of first responders. Her research focuses on discovering evidence-based and cost-effective interventions that managers can implement to reduce burnout and turnover in first responders while also improving their mental health and professional quality of life.
