The TWU Diversity Institute is a day-long interactive workshop provided for current TWU students. This training provides attendees the opportunity to engage in rigorous dialogue to help develop a better understanding of cultural diversity issues and their impact upon individuals, the TWU campus, and larger society. The cultural identities and social dynamics discussed include, but are not limited to: ability/disability, age, body size, citizenship, education, family system, gender identity, race/ethnicity/nationality, religion/spirituality, sexual orientation, social class, and privilege/marginalization. Participants should register by stopping by TWU Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) in West Jones Hall or calling CAPS at (940) 898-3801.
Must RSVP to reserve your space — seating is limited. Free lunch provided for pre-registered participants.
