Description

The TWU Ally Program is an interactive workshop held each semester as part of a nation-wide effort to provide support to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex, asexual/agender (LGBTQIA) students, faculty, and staff. The purpose of this program is to increase knowledge, personal and community awareness, and the number of physical and emotionally safer spaces for LGBTQIA individuals on the TWU campus. We hope to do so by educating students, staff, and faculty and providing opportunities to practice strategies for advocacy. Participants should register by stopping by TWU Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) in West Jones Hall or calling CAPS at (940) 898-3801.

Must RSVP to reserve your space – seating is limited. Free lunch provided for pre-registered participants.
